Welcome to the 2015-16 school year!

Hello, all.

My name is Mr. Denbrook, and this is my education blog.  This will be your interface to find out about assignments, links, resources, and also how to make up absences.  I suggest bookmarking it on your computer.

This is my fourth year in the Mt. View area, after moving from Eugene, Oregon.  On a side note, you and I will get along fine, barring the following circumstances:  1. You are a fan of any SEC football teams (in particular Auburn), or 2.  You have an unjustified and irrational hatred of the Oregon Ducks based on their entitled and arrogant fan base.  If you don’t care about the previous two conditions, we should be fine.

Anyway, for those who don’t know me, I am a track and football coach, and have taught both at the high school and middle school. I have a wife, Jill, a son, Henry, and a daughter Evelyn.  I’m an avid portrait and landscape photographer (the above picture was taken at Punchbowl Falls in the Columbia Gorge area of Oregon), and I’m an outdoor enthusiast who’s backpacked and lived in New Zealand, Japan, Canada, and all over the U.S.
